The Safer's in Pruzhany in 1909: (from left to right): Anna & May (age 3), Mollie, Rachel, Isaac & Sam Safer NOTE: These are the Safer's that remained in Pruzhany and emigrated together in 1921. Rachel married 1-2 years after this photo was taken. (Be sure to compare this photo with the photo of Pauline, Nathan & Lillian Pomerantz taken in NY in 1909. Pauline and her mother look exactly alike. And it is interesting to note that Pauline had her first child three years after her mother gave birth to Pauline's youngest siblings, Anna & May.)
